Clients don’t want more. They want less, said better

Every client I’ve ever worked with has initially asked for more content. More posts, more bylines, more pitches.

Almost none of them needed it.

What they needed was fewer things, said with more conviction. A single, sharp point of view beast an overflowing content calendar. Reporters remember the founder who said one tru thing clearly, not the one who said a bunch of vague things, more often. Consistency is important, but it should hold a common theme.

Volume always feels like progress. It isn’t. Precision is. If you’re measuring your PR program by how much you’re putting out, versus how much is landing, you’re looking at the wrong number.
