The Power of the Purposeful Trip

For 15 years, I was on a plane nearly every week. It was a grind, and honestly, the recent pause from constant travel has been a welcome change. It's given me a new appreciation for just how effective we can be virtually. The tools are better than ever, and we've proven we can get incredible work done without stepping on a plane.

But occasionally, a trip is more than just a trip. This past week, I was with clients, face-to-face, and it was a powerful reminder that some things just can't be replicated on a screen. The dynamic brainstorming sessions, the spontaneous hallway meetings and the shared energy. These are the moments that build the deepest connections and often lead to breakthroughs.

The old way of traveling just to show up is gone. The new way is about traveling for a purpose. If it truly adds value and effectiveness that can't be achieved any other way.
